Our association

The aim of the Queer Zug association is to promote contact between LGBTIQ* people in the canton of Zug and their acquaintances, friends and colleagues by organising a regular meeting place.

We think it is important that there are also opportunities in the canton of Zug where our community can meet. In addition, we are open to questions of any kind and provide support from specialist bodies in the LGBTIQ* field.

The association Queer Zug emerged from the group LesBiSchwul Zug. For over 20 years, this group has carried out various activities with and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people in Zug and the surrounding area. We have been organised as an association since 14 November 2013. At the general meeting on 8 March 2018, the name was changed from "LesBiSchwul Zug" to "Verein Queer Zug".
